Marketing & Events Manager

We are seeking applications for an experienced Marketing & Events Manager to join our growing team. 
Erin International is Ireland’s leading probate research company, specialising in tracing missing beneficiaries and kext of kin to estates worldwide.
 
Previously known as Erin Research, the firm recently rebranded to reflect its organic growth both in Ireland and internationally.
 
The firm, based in Co. Louth and closely aligned to the legal sector, is currently seeking a Marketing & Events Manager to join their team and help deliver its plans for further growth throughout Ireland and overseas.
 
The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of marketing and events for the firm. This role will work alongside and report directly to the company CEO.
 
The role will suit an enthusiastic marketing professional with experience in either the legal or educational sectors.
 
The Responsibilities:
  • Develop, build and nurture key client and industry relationships
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the marketing strategy across Ireland and overseas
  • Collaborate with the company CEO and senior management team to support the firm’s ambitions and ensure marketing activity is aligned
  • Oversee that all collateral and marketing data is up-to-date and readily available
  • Develop and maintain a good knowledge of the firm’s primary market, the firm’s position within the market and develop strategies for business growth
  • Management of projects and activities to support the firm grow its profile and win new business
  • Act as the point of contact for online and in-persons events, and manage events as required by the firm
  • Develop digital marketing strategies to assist in increasing brand awareness and company growth
  • Ownership of the marketing functions within the firm
The ideal candidate will;
  • Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Masters desirable)
  • Ideally have an understanding of the probate system in Ireland
  • Have established contacts within the legal profession in Ireland
  • Have strong presentation skills and be confident addressing delegates at conferences
  • Be commercially minded with the view to seeking out new opportunities
  • Be friendly, courteous and professional with a client-centric attitude
  • Understand new business processes, CRM and emerging technologies
  • Have experience in event management and organisation
  • Have previous experience working in marketing and BD positions
  • Marketing qualifications would be desirable
  • Have solid understanding of marketing principles, brand alignment and basic digital graphic design
  • Experience in implementing business plans and creating social media campaigns, with proven results
  • Experience working with senior management and have the ability to influence at c-suite level
  • Possess confidence to deal with fee earners and partners, interpret their requirements and manage their expectations
  • Be willing to work on their own initiative, but also be open to taking direction
  • Be prepared to travel nationwide on occasion, with overnight stays when required
