Tailte Eireann / Land Registry Applications
Erin International Launches New Checking Service.
Probate genealogy firm Erin International has launched a new service for private client solicitors across Ireland.
To be known as “Tailte Check”, the service is aimed at supporting conveyancing and probate practitioners who are having difficulty making applications to Tailte Eireann, formerly known as the Land Registry.
“We are aware of the challenges faced by Irish solicitors and legal executives when it comes to making applications to Tailte Eireann”, stated Erin International’s CEO, Padraic Grennan.
“This new unique service will give practitioners the opportunity to have their applications reviewed prior to submission to Tailte. Likewise, if an application has been rejected, the service means applications can enquire privately with us as to why this may have happened, and how to remedy same”.
Erin International launched a similar Probate Pre-Check Service in 2022 and since then has successfully checked over 1,000 probate applications. This new Tailte Check is now being launched in similar fashion, with the view to supporting Erin’s client-base across Ireland.
The Tailte Check will cover various elements of the submission process, including but not limited to;
-Transfers, Full or Part. Voluntary, or for consideration.
-Charges
-Releases
-Transmissions
-Burdens
-Cautions, Inhibitions and priority entries
-Leases, (pre May 2006 and post May 2006)
-Vesting Certificates
-First Registrations
-Form 3 applications
“We can sense the frustration among practitioners who are seeing their applications rejected with very little guidance” said Grennan. “We’re delighted to now be able to provide this service and make life a little easier for practitioners, and ultimately their clients.”
When making an enquiry for a Tailte Check, each case is assessed on its own merits and a bespoke estimate of costs is prepared based on the level of service required.
